fourtwentyfivetwentythirteen
fourtwentyfivetwentythirteen
time
it is thursday another day of time it is a month filled with poems it is a recognized event a subscription to the words of minds intent
the lofty highbrow pencil queen licked her lead again
the beauty queen lined her brows and furrowed the crows and darkened her nose
the tome is full of wording
the poem is dripping sarcasm
the poet is lurcking in the nearby
he is sharpening his time
it is so obvious this time
four and twenty blackberries baked into the pie charlax added five to make this poem rhyme
oblivious to time
the designation of the month plus the numerical reference of the day time equals love
your shorts are not green your socks match each other and you compare me to the worm as it turns the dirt into a garden full of green things
this poem works in the bottom of the bird cage place the poem with the words showing upp so the birds can fill in the blanks
parrots love my carrot tender endings
the subliminal message is this
did you get it did you guess
twenty five is half of fifty one more time
the sword of pericles dangles for damocles
accident prone asking for direction laying for a moment gone
near the ending going home wishing for the day to break to dawn to finally come
the Jews have been forgiven
the Catholics still frown
they seem to be the Guilty now
now you have it now
four and twenty five blackberries baked into the pie
four and twenty five blackberries baked into the pie
